New Haven Community Food Closet

Our Food Closet is a vibrant, hands-on ministry rooted in Jesus’ call to love our neighbors as ourselves. Through the generosity of our congregation and the wider New Haven community, and the steady commitment of dedicated volunteers, the shelves are kept stocked year-round so neighbors can find food when they need it. Monthly and seasonal “Meat & More” events offer extra support.

This ministry is sustained by strong partnerships with local farms, businesses, and community members, as well as the faithful work of volunteers who show up week after week.

In these challenging times, as needs continue to grow, we warmly welcome additional support of all kinds as we seek to follow Jesus’ example of compassion and hospitality, offering not only nourishment but dignity, welcome, and care to our community.
